Dr. Lemon is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon by training. A native of Barnwell, he has lived in Columbia for more than three decades. Elected to the MUSC board in 2014, he serves as the medical professional representative from the 2nd Congressional District.

Dr. Lemon most recently served as vice chairman of the MUSC Board of Trustees. He has practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery since finishing his residency at Emory University. Prior to Emory, he graduated from Clemson University and the MUSC College of Dental Medicine, where he also completed an internship. We are so proud of our James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine alum, Dr. Lemon, being chosen to serve as chairman of the board of trustees at the Medical University of South Carolina.
