Medical University of South Carolina encourages all of its students to vote. If you are a South Carolina resident, you may choose to vote here or at home with an absentee ballot. You must be registered at least thirty (30) days prior to any election in order to vote in that election. Registration forms are available through the SC Election Commission or online.

 

Registration and Absentee Voting

 

If voting in South Carolina, you are required to show one of the following Photo ID’s at your polling place: SC Driver’s License or ID Card issued by the SC Department of Motor Vehicles, SC Voter Registration Card with Photo, Federal Military ID, US Passport or Passport Card.If you are not from South Carolina and want to register to vote or vote absentee in your home state, National Mail Voter Registration forms are available through the US Government services or online.
