Embrace Diversity and Inclusion at the Medical University of South Carolina. The Office of Student Engagement promotes a campus environment that is welcoming and valuing of all people and the diversity in our human qualities and opinions. Duolingo Spanish Language Learning Challenge

Date: September 15th - October 15th
Sponsored by: MUSC International Student Association, Alliance for Hispanic Health, Aprendiendo Juntos, and Latino Medical Student Association

Joining the challenge is as simple as uno, dos, tres!

  1. Access the ISA Duolingo Classroom: CLICK HERE!  Here, you'll find all the resources you need to embark on your Spanish language journey.
  2. Enter the Code: In the Duolingo app, navigate to settings, then select "Duolingo for Schools." Enter the code "UZAQRF" to gain access to our exclusive classroom. Don't forget to leave your name and email – we'll send you an invitation via email to officially welcome you aboard.
  3. Tell Us Your Proficiency Level: To ensure an optimal learning experience for everyone, let us know your Spanish proficiency level. This will help us place you in the appropriate category for our exciting prize structure.

SGA Affinity Groups

An Affinity Group is a student organization whose mission statement represents a minority identity, including but not limited to race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or any other identity that is not shared by the majority in any of the following locations: MUSC, Charleston, South Carolina, or the United States. Each recognized group should support recruitment, retention, education, advocacy, and community building.

Affinity groups fall under the MUSC Student Government Association (SGA) umbrella and receive financial support from SGA.
