PharmD and Health Informatics

MUSC offers a combined PharmD degree and the Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) degree program.

The target audience is students in the PharmD program (or applicant s to the PharmD program). That is, all students who enroll in the combined program must be accepted in the PharmD and successfully complete the first 2 semesters, at which time they are eligible to apply to transfer into the combined degree program (to begin in the Fall semester of the second year). The MSHI Program classes are offered in a format conducive for the working student, including using weekend offerings and distance education  technologies.  This will allow the combined degree students to take the MSHI courses concurrently with PharmD courses.
