Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) and Master of Science in Health Informatics

MUSC offers a combined Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) degree program.

The target audience is students in the Pharm.D. program (or applicants to the Pharm.D. program). That is, all students who enroll in the combined program must be accepted in the Pharm.D. and successfully complete the first 2 semesters, at which time they are eligible to apply to transfer into the combined degree program (to begin in the Fall semester of the second year). The MSHI program classes are offered in a format conducive for the working student, including using weekend offerings and distance education technologies. This will allow the combined degree students to take the MSHI courses concurrently with Pharm.D. courses.
