Poll Everywhere

PollEverywhere is a real-time polling program that enhances student engagement. This program seamlessly engages audiences across hybrid workspaces through live online polling, surveys, Q&As, quizzes, word clouds, and more.

Accessing PollEverywhere

  1. Navigate to the MUSC Poll Everywhere log in page - http://polleverywhere.musc.edu/
  2. Log in using your MUSC network credentials.

*PollEverywhere can only be used with MUSC students and residents as responders.

Creating an Activity

Once you are signed in to your PollEverywhere account, you will see a blue “+ Activity” button.

Select the type of question or activity you would like to create.

  • a. Competition – energize any class
  • b. Multiple Choice – fast, formative assessment
  • c. Word Cloud – gauge the impact or sentiment check
  • d. Q&A – prioritize questions and ideas
  • e. Clickable Image – map answers on a spectrum or practice medical diagnosis
  • f. Open-ended – keep an open back channel or hold a silent discussion
  • g. Survey – quiz students during or after class
  • h. Rank Order – reorder ideas or topics or rank for impact
