3 to 4 p.m. – Check-in

At check-in, you will receive your commemorative Golden Graduate medallion. We ask that you wear it to all events throughout the weekend so that our MUSC family can easily identify and celebrate you as a Golden Grad!

4 to 6 p.m. – President’s Welcome Reception

MUSC President David J. Cole, M.D., FACS, will officially kick off your Golden Graduates Reunion! Reunite with friends and classmates and enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and drinks while connecting with your classmates.

Fee: $25 per person

7:30 to 8 a.m. – Pre-Recognition Breakfast Check-In

If you have not received your commemorative Golden Graduate medallion yet, please pick it up before breakfast Thursday morning.

8 to 9 a.m. – Golden Graduates Recognition Breakfast

All Golden Graduates of the MUSC Class of 1973 will be recognized at this time. Please enjoy a complimentary breakfast buffet during our program.

10 a.m. to noon – Campus tours

Buses will depart from the front of the Charleston Marriott Hotel to various locations on campus. Tours are first come, first serve.

12:30 p.m. – Build-your-own box lunch

A buffet luncheon will be available in the hotel lobby upon your return. Guests can make a boxed lunch with items to take back to their room or enjoy lunch on the hotel’s outside terrace.

Class of 1973, this is your big night! Connect with classmates for conversation, laughter and lots of catching up at your Golden Graduates Reunion. Reconnect with friends, strengthen your personal connections and toast your 50th anniversary as graduates of MUSC. Celebrate your Medical University of South Carolina legacy with a cocktail hour reception followed by dinner and dancing!

The Alumni Memorial Service is for alumni to remember those from the Class of 1973 who have passed away. The Rev. Frank Harris, MUSC chaplain, will lead the alumni memorial service. If you notice the omission of an alumnus on the In Memoriam page, please email Kelly Duffy directly at duffyke@musc.edu.
