Dr. Nasti is a member of the Academic Support Team for the accelerated undergraduate nursing program. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Masters of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Nursing Practice with an emphasis of family practice from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York.
Dr. Nasti's nursing career began in 2014 specializing in Critical Care Nursing in the Coronary/Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit, Medical, and Surgical ICU and Surgical Step-Down Unit. During her Nursing career she was certified in both progressive care nursing as well as critical care nursing.
She became an AACN certified family nurse practitioner in 2018. She then went on to practice as a nurse practitioner in Cardiothoracic Surgery in New York City, with a strong focus in patients with Lung Cancer and Esophageal Cancer. She also holds her Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certification. Her clinical interests are Lung Cancer Screening and Cardiac Prevention. In 2021, Dr. Nasti began her academic career as a clinical instructor in Brooklyn, NY for Wagner College. She currently is Co-Faculty for courses including Foundations & Gerontologic Nursing, and Medical-Surgical Nursing II.
